If you are a member of the Hiring Hall you must be "In Good Standing" to receive work avails. If you don't know what that means refer to the Hiring Hall Tab or the Constitution in regards to financial matters. Expulsion is frowned upon :(
If you are unsure of your balance, please contact Stephanie Panico firstname.lastname@example.org or 203-497-3067 x3.
NO CASH Payments are accepted!
If you are 65+ years of age and considering Retiring in 2022, you might have questions about taking a Retirement Card. You are still a member of Local 74 even though you will not be working with us. Retired members shall have a voice but no vote at union meetings and are not eligible to hold any office. You are still eligible for the Union's life insurance policy. Retirees do not pay dues. In lieu of recent events we wished to remind you of this option as financial and medical issues are of everyone's concern when we return to work.
If you are pursuing other forms of employment, have multiple cards i.e. 52, or 1 etc.. or for whatever reason do not wish to retain your membership in 2022, we suggest you take an Honorable Withdrawal. You must be "In Good Standing" to do so per the IA Constitution. If you wish to come back to the local in the future or join another local, Honorable Withdrawal is less expensive and the professional way to leave. Please notify us asap if you have questions or wish to withdrawal.
Please do not ignore the attempts to reach you. You may wish to return to the Local at a later time and HW is a more favorable option than expulsion.
